Creating a collection from a template

A powerful feature of CollectAny is the ability to save existing CollectionSets as 'templates' that can then be used to create new CollectionSets. This is especially useful for beginners who can quickly get started without having to use the designer at all.

Select menu options File>New from template.

You can then select an existing template file. Once selected you can change the collection name, description and photo.

Note : When you create a new CollectionSet from a template all the reports and styles are included from the template. However you can add or edit these as required because you are set as the owner of the new CollectionSet.
